What You’ll Do

• The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining manufacturing systems and equipment to ensure the proper function while minimizing downtime. Prior experience diagnosing and repairing manufacturing equipment is a must.
• Adhere diligently to all safety procedures and policies, including wearing the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), such as safety shoes, safety glasses, and required uniforms.
• Utilize hand tools and battery-operated tools safely and effectively.
• Complete emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, test and make machine adjustments.
• Maintain documentation on equipment condition, troubleshooting, and corrective actions taken for future reference and continuous improvement.
• Perform preventative maintenance on automated and system assembly equipment.
• Perform basic maintenance on tooling and equipment as necessary.
• Collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing teams to ensure compliance with proper quality processes, including QMS/ISO standards.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.

Qualifications To Be Successful

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years of prior experience in mechanical maintenance role.
• Mechanical aptitude with hands-on skills required, including the ability to use hand and power tools for product assembly.
• Highly motivated and able to work independently.
• Team player with positive outlook.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, push, or pull items for the entire shift (8-10 hours per day)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with production teams and leadership regarding the status of equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Nice To Have

• Associates or 4-year bachelor’s degree from a Trade School, Technical School, in Engineering or similar technical skillset.
