Shape the bright futures of Grand Canyon University students as an adjunct faculty member for the traditional ground campus in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, which provides a job focused education. As an adjunct faculty member, youll provide program instruction incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, cutting-edge technologies and other industry trends reflecting advancements in your discipline. Traditional Campus courses are daytime classes designed for traditional students and adjunct faculty provide face-to-face instruction on the **GCU Main Campus located in Phoenix, Arizona.**

This opportunity is for Fall 2022.

This foundational course in the science of behavior includes an overview of the history of psychology, the brain, motivation, emotion, sensory functions, perception, intelligence, gender and sexuality, social psychology, human development, learning psychopathology, and therapy.

**Responsibilities:**

Responsibilities include equipping students with the required skill set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance, and preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession. Other main responsibilities include the following:

* Provide a positive example to students by supporting the Universitys Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.

**Qualifications:**

* Minimum: Masters in Psychology.

* Exceptions may be granted to individuals with a Masters in any field possessing 18 graduate credits in Psychology and substantial work experience.

* Preferred: Psychology Doctorate.
