Position Summary/Purpose: The purpose of this position is to teach introductory science labs within the College of Natural Sciences. Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities/Essential Functions: Responsibilities include equipping students with the required skill set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance and preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession. Prepare and deliver lectures. Direct in-class activities. Prepare, deliver, and grade assessments. Proctor occasional make-up examinations/assignments. Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University. Equipment Used and Responsibility: MS Office Qualifications: Received a faculty recommendation. Completed sufficient courses in discipline of assistance needed as well as received a grade of B or higher in each Completed at least 72 credits toward undergraduate degree. Junior/Senior standing. Complete FERPA training.
