The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for working with the purchasing director to oversee the purchasing function for the hotel and ensure Hyatt Corporation specified guidelines and policies are met.

Pay range $70,600 - $106,000

Job Essentials:

• Management and coordination for the organization and cleanliness of the loading dock and storeroom.
• Avendra Compliance
• Liaison with Avendra Account Manager
• Maximization of program participation and rebate performance

• Responsibilities includes daily purchases of Food and Beverage as monthly budget goals set by Management

• Hotel Birchstreet Administrator with Purchasing Director
• Birchstreet Requisition and Inventory Compliance
• Storeroom Security, Rotation, and Par level Maintenance
• Hotel Purchase Order Policy Compliance
• Food and Beverage Cost Controls and Goal Achievement
• Sourcing New Vendors for Cost Improvements and Company Initiatives
• Quality Control at Point of Delivery
• Coordinate annual F&B Inventory
• Consistently seeks new products from Master Distributor and/or related companies
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of loading dock and all storerooms
• Reports to Purchasing Director and Executive Chef.
• Communicates with all departments and assists with their needs for product sourcing
• Coordinates all efforts towards cost control for food and beverage.

• Responsibilities includes the goals set by Management for purchasing daily Food and Beverage cost

• Beverage
• Liaison with beverage representatives and F&B Executive Management to get new products and allocated products
• Work with the beverage representatives to maximize products discount potential
• Work with representatives and F&B Executive Management to plan activations new Hyatt Corporate products

• Coordinate other duties to staff as directed by Management
