JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must perform the specific job duties as listed above to meet position expectations.
In addition, must possess skill in working cooperatively and effectively with clients, staff, management, and other professional groups; in exercising mature judgement in dealing with people; in presenting ideas clearly and accurately; in reading and comprehending the English language; and in communicating effectively; both orally and in writing.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree, 30 hours in a healthcare field or consecutive year of healthcare experience required.
Must complete within 6 months of hire if not already obtained:
RC-AL Licensure
RCF Training required.
NAB RC/AL Exam
Must have the ability to clinically supervise a multi-disciplinary clinical staff that will treat both the severely mentally ill client and the non-severely mentally ill client.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Knowledge:
1. Understanding of relevant regulations and licensing requirements.
2. Knowledge of healthcare and social service principles and practices.
3. Familiarity with administrative and financial management principles.
4. Understanding of health and safety protocols in a residential care setting.
5. Awareness of common medical conditions and disabilities among residents.
6. Knowledge of crisis intervention and conflict resolution techniques.
7. Understanding of person-centered care approaches.
8. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and other relevant technology.

1. Leadership and management skills to effectively oversee staff and operations.
2. Communication skills for interacting with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
3. Critical thinking skills to address challenges and issues as they arise.
4. Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.

6. Empathy and compassion for residents and their families.
7. Conflict resolution skills to manage conflicts among residents or between staff members.
8. Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
9. Diligence for maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance.
10. Adaptability to respond to changing circumstances and needs within the facility.
Knowledge of Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission (CARF), ODMHSAS, Oklahoma Health Care Authority standards and requirements as related to adult behavioral health services and needs.
An expectation of core competencies in relation to individuals with co-occurring disorders.
