GRAND Mental Health is Hiring a Residential Care Facility Administrator Near Claremore, OK

Job Duties And Responsibilities
  • Overseeing daily operations of the facility.
  • Managing staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures for the facility.
  • Monitoring residents' well-being and coordinating care services.
  • Handling resident admissions and discharges.
  • Managing facility budgets and finances.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.
  • Liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
  • Addressing any concerns or complaints from residents or their families.
  • Conducting regular assessments and evaluations of the facility's performance.
  • Keeping up to date with best practices and industry developments in residential care.
  • The design, planning, development and evaluation of programs and services to meet the mental health service needs of Residential Care Facilities.
  • Directing the implementation, maintenance, and documentation of appropriate services for Residential Care Facilities.
  • Operate in compliance with ethical and legal standards of mental health practice and with federal and state rules and regulations.
  • Possess a strong commitment to client well-being and safety.
  • Understands and promotes our Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) concept by providing or supporting community-based mental and substance use disorder services; advancing integration of behavioral health with physical health care; assimilating and utilizing evidence-based practices on a more consistent basis; and promoting improved access to high quality care.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job requirement.
  • Employees must be willing and able to perform all job-related travel normally associated with this position (this may include transportation of clients).
  • Participates in required staff meetings.
  • Performs other reasonably related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or other management as requested.
  • Quality of work will be evaluated through training, skill, or special purpose. Must be competent and adequate. Must meet “satisfactory” expectations at any scheduled job performance evaluation.
Must perform the specific job duties as listed above to meet position expectations.In addition, must possess skill in working cooperatively and effectively with clients, staff, management, and other professional groups; in exercising mature judgement in dealing with people; in presenting ideas clearly and accurately; in reading and comprehending the English language; and in communicating effectively; both orally and in writing.
Education And ExperienceBachelor’s degree, 30 hours in a healthcare field or consecutive year of healthcare experience required.
Must complete within 6 months of hire if not already obtained:
RC-AL Licensure
RCF Training required.
NAB RC/AL Exam
Must have the ability to clinically supervise a multi-disciplinary clinical staff that will treat both the severely mentally ill client and the non-severely mentally ill client.
KnowledgeKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and other relevant technology.

Knowledge of Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission (CARF), ODMHSAS, Oklahoma Health Care Authority standards and requirements as related to adult behavioral health services and needs.
An expectation of core competencies in relation to individuals with co-occurring disorders.
