The Pool attendant is the face of the recreation department. May work the outdoor pool, outdoor lazy river or indoor pool/spa. Responsible for greeting all guests that enter the facilities. Must be friendly, outgoing and consistently smiling. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: answering phones, helping guests with questions and information, providing guests with towels, checking and testing pool water, maintaining and cleaning pool deck, scheduling Spa appointments, selling retail items, scheduling and taking payment for resort activities, daily cash outs, and monitoring fitness center. Will check passes and ensure those entering are registered guests.

This position is part-time seasonal and will work weekends only.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or GED equivalent or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience. Minimum 1 year experience in customer service/hospitality driven position.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job the employee may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Employee may have to push, pull, reach and bend. Lifting items up to 15 pounds.

WORKING CONDITIONS

The work could be performed in both a climate-controlled or outdoor environment. May be exposed to inclement weather and varying degrees of temperature.
WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS
This position is weekends only. The earliest any shift would be is 7am and the latest is 10pm.
