POSITION TITLE: Marketing Director
DEPARTMENT: Marketing
REPORTS TO: Administrative Director of Community Relations
JOB PURPOSE: To improve the health and wellbeing of our communities.
BASIC FUNCTION: Plans and implements marketing and service development programs, both short and long term, targeted toward existing and new markets. Performs duties personally or through delegation to members of the Marketing staff. Develops and implements strategic marketing plans and forecasts to achieve objectives for District strategic initiatives and services. Develops and manages marketing operating budgets. Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail. Develops and recommends service line positioning and marketing strategies to produce the highest possible long-term sustainability of the district. Ensures effective control of marketing results, and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of objectives falls within designated budgets. Oversees and interprets market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
Monitors competitor services and marketing activities. Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners. Guides preparation of marketing activity reports and presents to executive management. Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all service lines, promotional materials, events, etc. Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations within the Marketing Department to develop and control advertising and marketing programs. Assists other departments within organization to prepare online material, printed materials and publications. Reviews and analyzes marketing performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness. Directs service research and development. Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position required, supervisory experience preferred. Experience in healthcare industry preferred.
SALARY INFORMATION :
$48.00-$63.08 Dependent on Experience
