We are growing and are looking to grow our team as well. We are open to either full time (32 hours) or part time (24 hours). Availability MUST include 5:45 am to 3:30 pm M-F

Responsibilities:

• Greets patients, family members, sales reps, and other visitors to the Center. Directs them to the proper person or location in the Center and keeps visitors informed by providing proper updated information
• Make insurance verification phone calls
• Interpret contracts/benefits to all patients
• Obtain coordination of Benefits/Third party insurance information
• Answer and forward incoming calls appropriately
• Responsible for verifying and updating patient and family insurance and demographic information
• Maintain smooth patient flow at the front desk
• Assist patients with billing issues
• Assists with other business office functions, such as: phones, opening and closing procedures, admitting process, billing activities, data entry, word processing, scheduling and medical records and mailing functions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have completed high school or equivalent
• College degree in health care administration or related field; or equivalent years of experience in a ambulatory health care or medical office setting preferred
• Excellent customer service skills (Ability to work well with physicians, employees, patients and others)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong team participation including planning and problem resolution
• Ability to balance multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Maintain patient privacy.
