Essential Functions
- The Home Health Aide provides personal care to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients
- Assessing the patient’s temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure to monitor his/her condition.
- Changing and making bed to maintain cleanliness
- Assisting patients with prescribed exercises
- Assisting patient with application of TED/JOBST stockings.
- Observing patients’ condition and report changes in condition to the Registered Nurse or Supervisor.
- Assisting with patient transfers, ambulation, and prescribed exercises according to established procedures.
- Documentation of care provided and other pertinent observations
Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma/GED minimum
C.N.A or must have successful completion of formal training program with required 75 hours of training and 16 hours of supervised practical or clinical training
License and CertificationsBasic Life Support (BLS), upon hire-required
Drivers License – PA, upon hire-required
Automobile insurance/registration, upon hire- required
