Responsibilities
The Floor Technician performs floor care and housekeeping duties for Grand View Health. The Floor Technician will perform these duties in an orderly, safe, and sanitary condition.
Essential Functions:
Maintains all floors, i.e., stripping, refinishing and daily maintenance of various floor types and surfaces.
- Performs cleaning and sanitizing of patient rooms and offices which may include vacuuming, high and low dusting, bed stripping/making and removal of general and hazardous waste.
Performs cleaning of restrooms following proper infection control procedures.
Adheres to all established systems and training programs to provide a safe working environment. Complies with all OSHA regulations and other local, state and federal government regulations.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:High School Diploma/GED, preferred Over 1 year to 3 years General housekeeping and floor care experience preferred
