Organizes and directs the daily activities of the phlebotomy team. Responsible for supervising phlebotomy training, schedules, and performance of phlebotomy staff members. A level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reports to Phlebotomy Manager. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Minimum 3 years of previous phlebotomy experience preferred . Minimum of 5 years of previous supervisory experience preferred.
