Cares for and assesses patient pre and post procedure. Assists physician and senior department personnel in conducting invasive tests and procedures by preparing equipment and patient for exam, monitoring patient's vital signs and electrocardiograph data, administers medications under physicians supervision and attending to patient's needs under minimal supervision and according to established policies and procedures. May assists in training and orientation of new department personnel. Associate Degree in Nursing required. Must be licensed as an RN in the state of Alabama. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through AHA or American Red Cross required. Minimum of 1 year RN experience in Cardiac Care preferred. Schedule: 4 shifts within a 6 week period and weekend call rotation.
