Summary

The Project Coordinator is pivotal in advancing our agency's mission through grant management and project oversight. This role requires comprehensive administrative skills, adept communication skills, and a proactive approach to ensure effective project execution and successful funding acquisition. Responsibilities include managing grant applications, overseeing project budgets and timelines, and engaging stakeholders to foster relationships that support the agency's objectives.

Qualifications:

  • At least three years of experience in project coordination, preferably in a nonprofit or governmental setting.
  • Demonstrated success in grant writing and management.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills for detailed data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience in managing social media platforms and donor relations.
  • Bilingual candidate, preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the identification, review, and submission of grant applications that align with agency mission, values, and current needs.
  • Collaborate across departments to gather necessary information for grant applications, annual reports, and social media content.
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring milestones are met and resources are efficiently utilized.
  • Serve as a liaison between the agency and various stakeholders, cultivating relationships that enhance project success, funding opportunities, and donor engagement.
  • Oversee the development and dissemination of annual reports to communicate project outcomes and agency impact to stakeholders and donors.
  • Manage social media strategy to increase visibility and engagement with the agency’s mission.
  • Other duties, including relevant large and small-scale event planning, as assigned.

  • Proactive in identifying and securing new funding opportunities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across different departments and with external partners.
  • Strong capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders and team members.
  • Adherence to high standards of data privacy and confidentiality in all operations.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Non-profit Management, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Continued professional development in project management, grant writing, and data analysis is highly encouraged.

Schedule:

  • Full-time, in-person
  • Monday-Friday (40 hours/week)
