The YMCA of Allard Center in Goffstown is seeking an energetic, creative and nurturing Associate Teacher to support our Early Learning classroom during our summer 2024 program, Quartermoon. Join us at the Y and be a part of something bigger by helping to lift others up!Responsibilities will include:Supporting curriculum and activity needs of the classroom depending on the days’ placementProviding age-appropriate instruction and supervisionEnsuring the health and safety of children in direct careWorking in collaboration as a team member with other classroom and program staffMaintaining professionalism at all times throughout the dayQualifications and Experience:9 college credits in Early Childhood Education, with at least 3 of those in child growth and development (minimum)Associate or Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)Prior childcare experienceChild Development Associate Certification (Preferred)Must be willing and able to obtain CPR & First Aid Certifications, or currently holdWork Hours/Pay Range:Camp season runs 06/24/2024 through 08/23/2024 and must be able to work a majority of the camp weeksPay range $16 - $19 depending upon experience (40 hours/wk) Year-round employment opportunities are available with the YMCA.
