Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing In-Home Daycare Helper. You will play a vital role in providing a safe and stimulating environment for children. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners and contribute to their growth and development.
Duties:
- Assist in implementing age-appropriate activities and lesson plans
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Provide assistance with toileting, diapering, and feeding as needed
- Collaborate with parents and communicate daily updates on their child's progress
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care
- Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children, such as babysitting or daycare roles
- Familiarity with toddler care and early childhood education principles
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques for young children
- Ability to handle challenging behaviors with patience and empathy
- First Aid/CPR certification is preferred but not required
- Experience working with diverse student populations is a plus
