```Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. As an integral part of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the financial transactions of the company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely and accurate payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
- Prepare and issue invoices to customers for accounts receivable
- Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and follow up as necessary
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any billing issues or discrepancies
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts
- Perform data entry tasks related to financial transactions
- Collaborate with the human resources department to ensure accurate recording of employee expenses
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Quicken, or UltiPro to perform daily tasks

Experience:
- Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable roles
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Quicken, or UltiPro
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or issues
- Familiarity with general ledger accounting processes
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
