Job Summary/Description:

KALB, a Gray Media station, located in Alexandria, LA is looking for a very organized person to support our National Sales Department. This position calls for a person who is a good communicator and able to multi-task while paying attention to detail and takes pride in a great work ethic.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited, to):

- Assist the National Sales Manager with day-to-day activities as related to requests from agencies requesting avails for specific time periods and programming as it relates to rates and inventory availability and putting them in WideOrbit Media Sales
- Enter all national orders from customers, make requested revisions, submit makegoods, deliver pre/post logs in WideOrbit Traffic system
- Enter available Farence orders weekly and track revenue monthly to report to management
- Track preemptions or displaced spots daily to update the National Sales Manager to create makegoods for customer
- Notify the National Sales Manager and Director of Sales of any revenue changes due to cancellations or additions by agencies
- Assist with updating programming each quarter
- Learn and understand ratings systems including Nielsen and Comscore
- Assist in political avails and maintain public files for the FCC website.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Be highly organized and able to follow direction
- Possess great communication skills both written and verbal while using excellent listening skills
- Be able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Detail Oriented
- Experience in broadcast is a plus but willing to train the right person
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products and comfortable learning new computer programs
