Job Summary/Description:

KFYR is searching for a Sports Director. From high school to college and everything in between, KFYR is looking for a true leader not just someone who delivers scores and highlights. This person knows what makes an impactful sports story and is not afraid to go after breaking news. Additionally, this role requires a team-first attitude who strives for excellence every day. In addition to the day-to-day responsibilities, this person is a leader and team player in the newsroom and beyond.
The ideal person will work well independently. Knowledge of western North Dakota is preferred but not required. Strong Videography, producing, phone, zoom, Microsoft Word, and basic journalism skills are required. Salary DOE. Some summer play-by-play opportunities.

Qualifications/Requirements:

* BS in Communications/Broadcast Journalism
* 3 years experience preferred
