As an Area Credit and Financial Manager, you will supervise the credit and collection policies and activities within the assigned territory.
In This Role You Will
- Implement, monitor, evaluate, and report on Company-established credit and collection policies as described in the Financial Manual
- Perform monthly reviews with Financial Managers including but not limited to: customer aging and Treasurer Reports, credit extension and exposure, job account management, year-old items, and additional reports as necessary
- Train and mentor Financial Managers and Management Trainees
- Interact with key customers, as indicated either through actual or potential sales activity, or as directed by Director Finance or District Vice President
- Provide backup to Director of Finance (during absences or as workload dictates)
- Support district initiatives through personal interaction with customers, suppliers, employees, and district and branch management
- 10 years Financial Manager or related experience required
- 4 year degree in Business, Management, or related field of study required; Masters of Business Administration from an accredited institution preferred
- Supervisory experience with progressive responsibility in a financial management role
- Knowledge of financial statement analysis techniques and accounting principles
- Knowledge of construction law
- Oral and written communication skills
- Mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to effectively interact with others
- Ability to relocate
- Travel required
- The expected salary for this position is starting at $95,000 annually depending on experience.
- This position is also bonus eligible, based on specific and relevant business metrics.
