Position SummaryGrayscale Investments is currently looking for an experienced Desktop Engineer Manager to join our dynamic team with the mission to advance end user enablement. You will manage our MSP and need to be hands-on while responsible for top-tier service to Leadership Team Members and all employees who work onsite and remotely. You must be customer oriented, a capable trainer and able to effectively manage our MSP. In addition, working closely with the CISO and the IT Director, you will provide on-going infrastructure maintenance and expand all end user related infrastructure as the company continues to grow. As a member of the Grayscale Technology Security team, you may be asked to support other initiatives and give leverage to the team generally. Responsibilities
Provide top tier service to end users and Leadership Team
Manage MSP, both remote Helpdesk and onsite personnel
Excellent troubleshooting knowledge of enterprise applications
Excellent written and verbal communications to End-Users.
Excellent training capabilities for end-users on technologies provided to users.
Demonstrated experience with windows Client and Server operating systems
Demonstrated experience in packaging, software management and patching of windows OS and third-party applications
Responsible for Microsoft O365 optimization and updates
Provide support and administration of Active Directory and Office 365 products in a hybrid environment.
Security first mindset and experience working in regulated environments
Working knowledge of common services and protocols such as DNS, IPSec, SSL/TLS.
Documentation of guides and processes for end users and for helpdesk team
Work on implementation and maintenance of windows autopilot
Provide recommendations on how to improve workstation delivery and life cycling of hardware
Qualifications
Minimum of 5-8 years Desktop Support Experience
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience with Windows Active Directory and Office365 Products
Prior experience working in an MSP environment
Highly organized and self-motivated, with an ability to work both independently and on a fast-paced team
Management experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Ability to work in an agile environment
Excellent written and verbal communication
Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Up-to-date knowledge of latest IT developments
Nice To Have
Experience working in a regulated industry and/or Financial Services
Working knowledge of linux operating systems
Experience with scripting languages such as powershell, bash, python
Experience with declarative languages such as ansible, terraform or similar technologies
Working knowledge of security products such as Crowdstrike, Netskope or similar
Experience with Identity and Access Management platforms like Okta, Auth0
