Facility Description:
The Great American Beer Hall is a 17,000 square foot tap room-style, American craft brewery
beer hall that will offer a wide array of the most popular craft beers from New England and the
broader United States. Cocktails, wine, and other beverages will be available as well. The
GABH’s first floor features a 17,000 square foot tap room / beer hall and a 4,800 sq. foot
outdoor beer garden. Interior and exterior mezzanine levels round out the facility's design.

Bar Staff
Primary Purpose of Job:
Wait/Bar staff ensure a memorable experience for our guests by serving food and beverage
items in an efficient, pleasant manner. All service staff follow proper etiquette procedures and
can handle themselves in the utmost professional manner.
Major Responsibilities include but not limited to:
· Create a warm, friendly, relaxed atmosphere for the enjoyment of our guests.
· Maintain a clean, neat, professional appearance always in accordance with established dress
codes.
· Must be able to lift 30 LBS
· Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
· Comply with all food and beverage regulations
· Be a team player and have the ability to work closely with others.
· Effectively handle complaints and communicate them through the proper channels.
· Work with a “sense of urgency” on behalf of our guests.
Job Tasks/List:
· To efficiently serve food and drinks in a friendly and courteous manner. To follow the service
sequence and standards of the club, according to the training manual.
· To take food and beverage orders and be able to communicate both verbally and in writing
the content of the orders with co-workers, as well as to correctly order them in the POS
system.
· To have complete knowledge of all menu items including preparation of those items.
· To assure that food and drink preparation and presentation are proper throughout the
guests’ experience.
· To ensure proper set-up and maintenance of the service station, tables and common areas
throughout the establishment.
· Knowledge of and adherence to all uniform requirements; to be always professional in both
appearance and manner.
· Knowledge of, respect for and adherence to all staff privileges and responsibilities.
· To be prepared to seat guests in the absence of a manager or host.
· To work well as a team member with the entire staff.
· To be aware of all state laws pertaining to the sale and service of liquor and alcoholic
beverages.
· Updates job knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities.
Schedule: possible full-time/part-time day and evening
Salary/Compensation: hourly plus gratuities
