Position Title : Logistics Associate
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Job Summary
Responsible for receiving, storage, loading and unloading, delivery and inventory. Ensuring specification, quantity and quality of order are correct; verifying stock and identifying losses; maintaining an organized warehouse layout; ensuring safe operation of vehicles
Duties and Responsibilities
Deliveries:
· Verify status of all items for all deliveries
· Communicate with customer prior to delivery regarding delivery time and site information
· Communicate with customer during delivery regarding final payment, placement of spa/sauna, and installation accessories
· Clean up all delivery materials on site, in the delivery vehicle and at the warehouse
Wet Test/Delivery Prep:
· Wet test spas for 24 hours to ensure proper operation of plumbing and all equipment
· Install accessories that can be completed in the shop during wet test time
· Identify all accessories in advance of the delivery that are included in the sale of spa/sauna, and properly prepared to be transported with spa/sauna being delivered
· Verify site information either from service software program(BlueFolder), e-mail communication, or sales person
Rebuild Spas (at Shop):
· Wet Test and inspect spas and repair or replace any damaged or worn components
· Track all time and materials in the service software program for each job (BlueFolder)
Drain & Clean/Light Field Service:
· Drain/clean/refills, inspections, etc.
Receiving:
· Verify the products are correct and label everything (Customer labels and inventory)
Inventory Management/Warehousing:
· Keep all products organized (stock and special order)
· Rotate all chemical inventories when putting away new inventory
· Clean warehouse, parts caves, plumbing shop and the outside GBSS items (i.e. pallets, spas, general trash etc)
· All other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
Communication:
· Effectively communicate with customers and co-workers
· Have a working knowledge of spas and associated chemicals
Equipment:
· Fork lift certified
Misc:
· Valid drivers license, clean driving record
· Medical card may be required
Working Conditions
· Indoors and/or outdoors with potential for extreme temperature conditions
· Must be able to work with minimal supervision
· Private customer homes or business establishments
· Ability to work in a team or alone
Physical Requirements
Ability to:
· lift heavy objects
· kneel , squat, stoop and/or crouch
· push, pull and carry objects
