Great Expressions Dental Centers is Hiring an Admin Manager, Orthodontic Strategy Near Atlanta, GA

Job Summary:
The Orthodontic Strategy Manager is responsible for providing business development and operational leadership, direction and administration to assigned orthodontic practices in the region ensuring operational and financial effectiveness through its Orthodontic Treatment Coordinators(TC’s), Orthodontic Patient Care Coordinators (PC’s) in partnership with the office’s Manager, Dental Office Operations and the region’s Area Managers, Dental Office Operations. The Orthodontic Strategy Manager is responsible for growing the orthodontic business unit within their region, optimizing the orthodontic treatment acceptance process, optimizing orthodontic clinical and financial patient compliance, maximizing efficiencies, processes through coaching, mentoring, training, and performance managing the Orthodontic Treatment Coordinators(TC’s) and Orthodontic Patient Coordinators(PC’s).
Essential Duties & Business Development Responsibilities
  • Monitor and act on key reports that support the Ortho LOB
  • Provides Regional Teams training on Ortho policies including patient contracts, patient financing including 3rd financing options, pre approvals and approval processes, insurance verification, patient and insurance accounts receivables, GEDC internal patient tracking and reporting systems and a series of financial performance/AR reports as presented in the Orthodontic Strategy Standardization (OSS) Training
  • Assist Regional team to develop comprehensive business plans; forecasts, setting performance goals and objectives; identifying training needs, co-develop training modules as needed.
  • Establishes a weekly call to review operational strengths and coach on operational weaknesses with the AOM/Regional Teams.
  • Weekly review of providers’ schedules to ensure template adherence with summary report to DVP(s)
  • Monitors and enforces the GEDC referral protocols, focusing on the orthodontic role in the interdisciplinary GEDC comprehensive care model, including two-way coordination between ortho/pedo, ortho/hygiene, ortho/GP, and ortho/surgery
  • Serve as liaison for the Ortho providers to the Clinical Directors/Partners and VPO’s, relaying any clinical, operational, or other issues facing providers and teams
  • Maintain effective communication with Clinical Directors, Vice Presidents of Operations, Area Operation Managers and Practice Administrators, in the areas of need for Ortho.
Management and Team Member Development Responsibilities:
  • Subject Matter Expert on how to read, interpret, and explain the P&L Statements, and all Ortho specific reporting resources for GEDC
  • Ortho Scorecard
  • Ortho Daily Report
  • Ortho Monitoring Report
  • Auto Pay Decline Report
  • OBS and WCB Reports
  • Directs the AOM/Regional teams on KPI compliance with financial results, including balance due process, auto pay and Ortho treatment compliance
  • Stays current with industry practices
  • Attends monthly meetings as requested by the Divisional VP, National Orthodontics
  • Other tasks as requested by the respective Divisional Vice President, Operations of the region and the Divisional VP, National Orthodontics
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of previous Orthodontics reporting and data experience
  • Prior experience in dental operations management or a comparable role within the healthcare sector.
  • Strong computer skills including: Microsoft Office and experience using electronic practice management systems
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts to practical situations
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common insurance plans and financial information
  • Proven track record of developing highly productive working relationships
  • Ability to work independently and professionally in a fast past environment
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Superior patient experience skills and successful track record of positive patient communications
  • Ability to create and maintain clear communications with the patient in order to explain and gain patient treatment planning understanding and acceptance
Education & Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED with 4 or more years of experience in a dental office environment
  • Familiarity with dental terminology to clarify to patients treatment options
  • Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or other related degree
