Great Falls Public Schools is Hiring a Technology Integration Coach (7-12) Near Great Falls, MT

QualificationsSTAFF VACANCY:
  • Current Montana teaching license
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in the use of educational technology
  • Affinity for evolving technology and instructional practices and ability to learn these technologies and practices on own
  • Facilitation and public presentation skills necessary to interact successfully with individuals, small groups and large groups
  • Knowledge of best practices in the effective use and integration of instructional technology in 7-12 classrooms
  • Ability to pace and schedule own work load for maximum efficiency; be highly motivated and a self-starter
  • Ability to research instructional technology to improve student achievement and assist with the design and implementation in order to meet curricular benchmarks
  • Ability to create training materials and document lessons that include technology usage
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Technology Coach will assist 7 – 12 school teaching staff in embedding technology into their daily teaching and work as well as research classroom solutions. This position is focused on 7 – 12 6 grade instruction. Additional responsibilities include PIR instruction and recruitment, new teacher training, summer workshops, and some after- or before-school technology coaching sessions (requiring flexible scheduling of daily work.) 10 summer days may be required. EMPLOYMENT: 4 years with the possibility of extension LOCATION: Office at DOB, responsible to all schools SALARY: $40,701-$66,821 (2024/2025 salary schedule) CLOSING DATE: Open Until FilledAn electronic application must be received in the application program (available at www.gfps.k12.mt.us) by the closing date.
