QualificationsSTAFF VACANCY:
Current Montana teaching license
Demonstrated skills and experience in the use of educational technology
Affinity for evolving technology and instructional practices and ability to learn these technologies and practices on own
Facilitation and public presentation skills necessary to interact successfully with individuals, small groups and large groups
Knowledge of best practices in the effective use and integration of instructional technology in 7-12 classrooms
Ability to pace and schedule own work load for maximum efficiency; be highly motivated and a self-starter
Ability to research instructional technology to improve student achievement and assist with the design and implementation in order to meet curricular benchmarks
Ability to create training materials and document lessons that include technology usage
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Technology Coach will assist 7 – 12 school teaching staff in embedding technology into their daily teaching and work as well as research classroom solutions. This position is focused on 7 – 12 6 grade instruction. Additional responsibilities include PIR instruction and recruitment, new teacher training, summer workshops, and some after- or before-school technology coaching sessions (requiring flexible scheduling of daily work.) 10 summer days may be required.
