Great Kitchens Food Company, INC is Hiring a General Labor, Production - 2nd shift Near Brockton, MA
Bakery: To prepare, assemble, weigh and form pizza, calzone bakery products.
Packaging: To assemble, transfer, apply & groom toppings to pizzas. Fill, label, transfer, and pack products.
Job Requirements
- Recognize and be able to read the ingredients used in each item produced in English.
- Ensure that the proper handling techniques are followed to shape the doughs and add the fillings & toppings.
- Ensure that the proper weights for fillings are being used on the line based on the product being produced.
- Watch that the proper ingredients are being used on the line based on the product being produced.
- Ensure that the proper weights for finished products.
- Be alert, aware and recognize when product or ingredient used to produce product has quality issues and report to Lead, Supervisor and/or Quality.
- Watch labels, codes, product quality for issues and report to Lead, Supervisor and/or Quality.
- Follow and practice company Good Manufacturing Practices Rules (GMP’s).
- Follow and practice all safety rules and requirements.
- Complete any required paperwork.
- Maintain work area clean and neat at all times complete all other duties assigned by shift supervisor.
Have basic reading skills in English. Previous experience a plus but not necessary.
Work Conditions
- Hot and cold temperatures (Hot 80-90F & Cold 35-45F)
- High noise levels in some areas of the plant.
- Sudden schedule changes during seasonal volumes.
