Great Lakes Electric is Hiring a Customer Service Coordinator Near Milan, OH

SUMMARY

The Customer Service Coordinator will provide support to customers, technicians and office staff at Great Lakes Electric. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing a variety of tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day activities, and contributing to the overall success of the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Manage and maintain schedules/appointments for customers and service technicians.

Handle phone calls, emails, and correspondence on behalf of GLE, ensuring timely responses.

Assist with new service calls and job assignments for service team.

Facilitate communication between internal and external team members.

Maintain a high level of confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

Maintain and organize files, documents, and records for efficient retrieval.

Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless workflow and information exchange.

Utilizing Quick Books Online for customer job billing, payments and problem solving.

Responsible for following company safety policies and maintaining a safe work environment.

Maintain regular attendance per Great Lakes Electric policy.

Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, vendors, individuals, co-workers, and supervisors.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must be able to pass a Drug Test prior to start date.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School GED is required, Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Years of experience can be substituted in replacement of a Bachelor's Degree. Proven experience in an office environment or office assistant, strong organizational skills, ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism, and experience in the service or electrical industry is preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
