Great Lakes Management is looking for a full-time Floating Maintenance Technician! This position provides maintenance services in Scott County. 40 hours per week, flexible hours, generally 8am to 4:30pm. This role will be required to travel to multiple GLM locations within Scott County to provide Maintenance support as needed.
This position requires shared, 24/7 after hours on-call emergency maintenance services; one week on-call and two weeks off-call.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining all mechanical equipment, emergency systems, building fixtures and groundwork as needed.
• Complete all work orders quickly and efficiently.
• Report any problems/deficiencies to the Director of Maintenance
• Knowledgeable of building codes and regulatory compliance issues.
• Interacts positively with all team members in maintaining census by immediately completing apartment turns
• Maintain the grounds, trash, sweep, dumpster areas, snowplow, etc.
• Test the resident security systems as required.
• Assist with custodial duties which include but not limited to, trash removal, carpet cleaning, etc.
• Perform any maintenance task necessary as directed.

Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of maintenance experience required.
• Boiler License preferred, but not required.
• Skills in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, appliances, doors & windows.
• Ability to motivate oneself and work independently.
• Current, valid driver’s license.
