Great Lakes Protection Fund is Hiring a Program Associate Near Evanston, IL

The Great Lakes Protection Fund seeks a Program Associate to support our high-performing team. We want a self-motivated, team-oriented professional to help us spot needs, solve problems, and support our small but mighty team of change-makers. Duties include data entry and analysis, managing information systems, preparing reports, and overseeing communication content. The Associate will also support our communication strategy, developing stories about our work for external audiences. Our work is dynamic, so this role will also take on additional tasks and help others, including administration and operations, as needed.

We are particularly interested in superior organizational and analytic skills, the ability to manage information and information systems, excellent writing skills, the ability to tell stories, curiosity, a desire to learn, and an eagerness to help support others. The right person has a combination of success in project support, research, analytics, and/or communications. We expect you to have strong Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and an eagerness to work with and support a team. We are open to a range of candidates who bring their unique skills and experience to the role.

This role requires regular work in our Evanston office and periodic travel for meetings. We can structure this as a full or part-time position.
