Great Lakes Wine and Spirits is a growing statewide company seeking a Brand Manager Support to work at our office in Grand Rapids
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The Brand Manager Support position is to provide accurate, timely, and thorough support to the Brand Management Team. Ensuring all pricing, new item set up, existing item maintenance, reserve and approvals are up to date. In addition, updating the GL Academy monthly and quarterly. The Brand Manager Support position reports to the Director of Brand Management of Great Lakes Wine & Spirits Co.
Brand Manager Support
- Timely and accurate New Item set up. Save all MLCC approvals in G-drive for new brands and items. Ensure all LARA reports are accurate.
- Timely and accurate front and post pricing updates.
- Responsible for updating UPC and SCC numbers.
- Responsible for Reserve System. Adding, moving or deleting items in reserve.
- Responsible for daily approvals.
- Assisting sales representatives with approval requests.
- Assisting sales representatives with miss-ships, OOS, errors in delivery.
- Responsible for Monthly/Quarterly Updates to the GL Academy.
- Creating Street Sheets and Specialty Sales Sheets.
- Maintains LARAs for our Brand Managers.
- Works to be sound on vocabulary of the industry, Company, brands, items, and categories to be most informed when working with sales.
- Interacts and communicates thoroughly with all Sales Department, Company, and Supplier Staff/Representatives.
- Provide Clerical/Administrative support to other Sales Departments as directed.
- Assistance on special projects as needed.
Administrative
- Exhibits professionalism on the phone and thorough on all correspondence.
- Timely answers emails, inquiries, and is sound in grammar, punctuation, and diction in correspondence.
- Available and helpful to other Sales Department and Staff when requested.
- Assists Sales/Management with various technical support to improve presentation and efficiency.
- Supports Grand Rapids warehouse staff with customer door orders M-F.
- Helps ensure Point of Sale is organized in the Grand Rapids warehouse.
- Helps with periodic banner printing needs for sales teams.
- Timely, follows work schedule as outlined.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- This position requires frequent sitting; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, bending or standing on a stool as needed, and extensive use of computer equipment.
- The employee must occasionally lift office products and supplies weighing up to 20 pounds.
- This position requires the employee to read, write and communicate in English. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time position. Hours are Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. through 5 p.m.
Pay & Benefits
- Base around $45,000 paid Semi-Monthly

Required Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience strongly preferred
- Minimum high school diploma
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or other related focuses preferred
- Basic wine knowledge
Technical
- Ability to use Diver software to run accurate reports/pricing tools to assist the brand manager functions.
- Competent in basic server reporting and its contents as well as ability to validate accuracy of information/data from either server or Diver.
Additional Requirements:
- Pass preplacement screenings including a Background Check on criminal record and education, Rapid 10-Panel Drug Screen, and Physical Evaluation.
- Adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the employee policy manual and any applicable contracts, signed agreements, and work rules.
- Cooperates with all management and staff of GLWAS.
- Dress and groom in a professional manner.
- Follows all MLCC rules and regulations, as they apply to the position.
- Keeps work area in an organized and orderly manner.
- Use alcohol in a responsible manner when related to business activities.
