Machine Operator- Skilled Slitter

Position – Machine Operator, Slitting machine

Job Location –  Appleton, WI

Starting Date –  Immediately

Employment Term –  Temp to Hire/Direct Hire

Employment Type –  Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – 2nd shift 2-10 pm, Monday - Friday

Starting Pay –  $22 based off experience

Required Education –  High School Diploma/GED, Electro-Mechanical or Industrial Maintenance degree a plus

Required Experience –  2 years machine operations, skilled preferred

This is an hourly non-exempt position reporting to the Shift Supervisor. Machine operations of the slitter machine include changing out the various slicing and packaging apparatus, run product, quality checks and following job instructions for production.

Responsibilities:

- Maintenance and repairs on machines as needed 

- Set up tooling required for each operation and running quality product

- Measuring and documenting as needed

- Participating in continuous improvement

Qualifications: 

- Must be able to read, write and speak English and follow job instructions

-- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and effectively navigate around machines

- Must be safety minded
