Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Landscape Sales Associate at Great Outdoors in Ann Arbor, MI. The Landscape Sales Associate will be responsible for promoting and selling landscape products to customers, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining product knowledge. They will also assist customers in selecting the right hardscape products and plantings for their specific needs and offer advice and recommendations on landscaping projects.

Day to Day Activities

• Designing and estimating Landscape/Hardscape projects.
• Taking site measurements, meeting with clients in presenting designs and proposals.
• Meeting with our project management team to help implement your designed projects and handle customer and project issues.
• Attend weekly sales and company meetings

Qualifications

• Prior sales experience, preferably in a landscaping environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of landscape products and materials
• Strong customer service skills and Attention to details
• Team Player: Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Basic computer skills, CAD skills a plus

Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial for this role include:

• Knowledge of local plant species and landscaping techniques
• Experience with landscape design software
• Understanding of horticultural principles
• Ability to lift heavy objects and operate landscaping equipment
