Quality Assurance Inspector – 1st shift - Tipton, KS

Great Plains Manufacturing currently has an opening for a 1st shift Quality Assurance Inspector at our Tipton facility. The schedule for this position is Monday through Thursday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm (overtime on Friday as required)

Responsibilities:

• Review manufacturing processes throughout the facility to ensure a quality product
• Identify defective parts in each department and address as needed
• Troubleshoot causes of defects
• Experience understanding proper welds, paint and fasteners
• Ability to interpret Engineering Prints
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and understand engineering prints
• Demonstrates working familiarity with precision measuring tools
• Ability to communicate accurately both written and verbal
• Thrive in fast paced, high-pressure environment
• Able to work outside in all weather conditions
• Have good organizational skills
• Be highly self-motivated
• Previous quality assurance experience helpful
