Under the direction of the Coordinator, the RN provides high quality respiratory care, clinical and DME duties. The RN will communicate when appropriate any concerns regarding care provided to those allied health professionals and physicians involved in the care of the patient. The RN will also complete all other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Graduate of an approved Nursing School.
Valid North Dakota RN License. Current CPR certification (or completed within 60 days of employment). Valid driver's license.
Two years home care experience preferred but not required.
Weekdays 8am to 5pm. On-call coverage 5pm to 8am and weekends as scheduled.
Good clinical evaluation skills. Mechanical aptitude required. Computer aptitude required.
Ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Must demonstrate initiative and good judgment. Promotes positive working relationships among co-workers through expressions of appreciation to others for the work they do. Works in harmony and with a spirit of cooperation with physicians and the general public. Disciplined to actively listen to customer's needs and takes responsibility to address those needs. Thrives in a fast-paced work environment
Medium-heavy lifting 75 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 35 pounds.
