Great Valley School District is Hiring an EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR INSTRUCTORS, Summer 2024 Near Malvern, PA
- SECONDARY LEARNING SUPPORT INSTRUCTORS
- AUTISTIC SUPPORT INSTRUCTORS
- SPEECH/LANGUAGE THERAPISTS
- Plan and instruct students daily on specific, individualized qualifying IEP goal areas.
- Take progress monitoring data in accordance with IEP goals
- Write progress reports for IEP goals, upload them to Powerschool, and send them to families at the conclusion of ESY services.
- ***Additional compensation is provided to complete this task outside of teaching hours.
- Provide quality, daily instruction for students attending ESY.
- Communicate effectively with students and their families as needed.
- Demonstrate the ability to work in a collaborative team environment & be flexible and cooperative with fellow team members.
- Proactively solve problems and address areas of concern for students.
- Participate in meetings & trainings prior to ESY.
- Communicate with coordinator as needed throughout ESY.
- Use effective classroom management to support a safe and nurturing learning environment.
- Monitor students at lunch and recess daily.
- Meet students daily at transportation drop-off and ensure students access transportation home.
- Support instructional aides to work with students and other professionals as needed.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Availability for duration of ESY preferred; however, applicants may apply and make note of their
