    CURRENT VACANCIES INCLUDE:
    • SECONDARY LEARNING SUPPORT INSTRUCTORS
    • AUTISTIC SUPPORT INSTRUCTORS
    • SPEECH/LANGUAGE THERAPISTS
    Full Day Daily Teachers and Substitutes (as needed) ESY Dates:
    Learning Support Academies: July 1, 2024-August 1, 2024 (Mon-Thurs-no school July 4)
    Center Based Programing: June 24, 2024-August 1, 2024 (Mon-Thurs-no school July 4)
    Teacher Hours: 8:00 am – 2:30 pm (Student hours are 8:30-2:00 pm)
    Payment: $46/hour
    Interested candidates should expect to:
    • Plan and instruct students daily on specific, individualized qualifying IEP goal areas.
    • Take progress monitoring data in accordance with IEP goals
    • Write progress reports for IEP goals, upload them to Powerschool, and send them to families at the conclusion of ESY services.
    • ***Additional compensation is provided to complete this task outside of teaching hours.
    • Provide quality, daily instruction for students attending ESY.
    • Communicate effectively with students and their families as needed.
    • Demonstrate the ability to work in a collaborative team environment & be flexible and cooperative with fellow team members.
    • Proactively solve problems and address areas of concern for students.
    • Participate in meetings & trainings prior to ESY.
    • Communicate with coordinator as needed throughout ESY.
    • Use effective classroom management to support a safe and nurturing learning environment.
    • Monitor students at lunch and recess daily.
    • Meet students daily at transportation drop-off and ensure students access transportation home.
    • Support instructional aides to work with students and other professionals as needed.
    • Other duties may be assigned as needed.
    • Availability for duration of ESY preferred; however, applicants may apply and make note of their
    vacation/time off needed for consideration.
    • All candidates are considered; however special education certificates or previous ESY teaching
    experience is preferred.
    • Applicants may express a desire to work in learning support or center based programs and interests
    will be taken into account, although specific requests cannot be guaranteed.
