Position DescriptionThe primary purpose of this position is to develop and implement a comprehensive counseling program to meet the needs of all students in Greater Albany Public Schools. A primary focus is to assist students in meeting and enhancing their social, emotional, and academic development. Counselors will provide direct guidance and counseling services helping students develop their abilities to learn, work and live in a partnership between home, school and the community. Ideal candidates will actively engage in the improvement of counseling practices through coaching, evaluation and staff development.
