Oversee district's food service operations.
Prior experience preferred but not required.

Is current with Food Service best practices.
Is current with required industry certifications.
Daily field level supervision of the four buildings kitchen staff.
Daily management of staff, absent employee replacements and substitute positions fulfillment.
Rresolving operational issues and concerns.
Communicate with staff, students, administration and parents of food service operations procedural additions, changes and updates.
Work with food service vendors on order fulfillment. Maintains and ensures delivery schedules.
Work with food service staff to ensure equipment and working environment is safe and operational.
Reports equipment and facilities issues to head custodians.
?Preparation of child nutrition, financial, federal statistics and district reports.
?Electronic transmission of monthly claims to the state for breakfast and lunch re-imbursements.
All monthly food and supply inventories from all schools computerized file.
submit daily deposits and bank receipts with accounting codes in the proper report form to the treasurer’s office daily.
submit rebates to companies and vendors for payment.
enter all purchase orders monthly for vendors to be used.
Maintains updated database for all child nutrition services personnel.
Assumes responsibility for typing and sending out to all schools and select parents, the daily menu production sheets and menu monthly.
Maintains files on free and reduced price students with updated lists and assists with verification process. Assumes responsibility for ordering supplies as needed in all schools.
Assists in serving in schools during lunchtime as needed.
