The Greater Cleveland RTA is searching for a Supervisor of Customer Engagement.
Detailed DescriptionDuties: The Administration & External Affairs Cluster has grown to include Mobility Management, Travel Training, Community Engagement, and is tasked with building a more robust Community Advisory Committee (CAC). With this expansion, there is a need to couple those tasks with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) for build a comprehensive community engagement strategy for GCRTA. The Supervisor, Community Engagement will have an external facing role to build awareness for programs and services offered by the GCRTA. The foundation for the role is education, engagement, to build public trust and brand awareness. The Supervisor, Community Engagement works with the general public to build public trust and build brand for social awareness including designing public engagement initiatives to transform communities and mobilizing teams of volunteers to support social activities. The Supervisor, Community Engagement organizes external engagement through ADA, community-based, citizens outreach activities by managing and scheduling stakeholder meetings and hosting workshops. Supports the implementation of a robust comprehensive engagement program. Ensures regular communication with local residents and key stakeholders and community advisory councils. The Supervisor, Community Engagement, manages competing demand in the comprehensive engagement strategy. The Supervisor, Community Engagement reports to the Deputy General Manager, Administration & External Affairs and/or designee.
Job RequirementsMinimum Requirements:
Applicants must have a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related field, related to training in Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and project management. Applicants must have work experience with ADA and the non-profit community, with the capability to build/cultivate external relationships with stakeholders. Applicant must have experience in community engagement, excellent communication (verbal and written) skills, leadership capability, nurturer of positive relationships, able to build and maintain trusts, demonstrated understanding of the needs of diverse communities, and project management skills (experience prioritizing competing demands). Supervisory experience gained through training/education or work experience is a plus.
