Senior Counsel- Labor, Employment, and Administrative Law
The Senior Counsel position supervises and manages the operation of the Labor, Employment and Administrative Law Section of the Legal Affairs Division. The Labor, Employment and Administrative Law Section is responsible for:
Job Requirements
Applicants must have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and a license to practice law in the State of Ohio. Applicants must also be in good standing with the Ohio Supreme Court. A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant legal experience is required. At least three (3) years professional supervisory experience preferred, either through professional work environment or through completion of supervisory training/education. Applicants must also have strong writing, research and oral communication skills, with experience using Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, Groupwise or similar email communication, and the internet. Applicants must also have intermediate knowledge of and skill in using Westlaw and/or Lexis software.
