SERVICE WRITER / PARTS ADVISOR

Responsible for communicating with customers, documenting service requests, and coordinating with our technicians to ensure timely and accurate repairs. Accurately identify parts needed for repairs and maintenance, provide price quotes, and assist with ordering and tracking inventory. Responsible for maintaining accurate records, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring that parts are delivered in a timely manner. Additionally, you will assist customers with inquiries, make recommendations for alternative parts, and provide guidance on proper installation and usage.

• Greet customers and document their service requests
• Provide friendly and professional assistance in identifying parts and accessories needed
• for automotive repairs and maintenance.
• Provide price quotes and process orders for customers, ensuring accuracy and timely
• delivery.
• Coordinate customer work orders with technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
• Act as a liaison between customers and technicians, providing updates on repair progress.
• Maintain accurate records of service history and customer information
• Assist in resolving any warranty issues or disputes.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and track parts orders, ensuring that all parts are
• accounted for and delivered as expected.
• Coordinate with suppliers to keep updated on product availability, pricing, and
• promotions.
• Source and evaluate potential suppliers for necessary parts.
• Coordinate with internal teams to identify parts requirements.
• Must have working knowledge of maintenance, ideally diesel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
