Description

Hinterland Brewery & Restaurant is looking for an energetic and responsible person to join our team as a Maintenance Facilities Technician. This individual will be responsible for general cleaning and maintenance of our entire facility as well as managing our cleaning program, including but not limited to the following.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows and walls
• Maintain cleaning inventory, communicating ordering needs for new products with manager
• Maintain outdoor grounds, sweep and keep public areas clean
• Perform minor repairs on machinery, equipment and tools
• Clean and maintain restrooms
• Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions
• Clean and maintain drains, sinks and traps etc.
• Pull out all kitchen equipment and clean them, the floors and stainless behind them
• Remove all hood vents and clean

Skills and Qualifications

• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of various cleaning products and when to use them
• Ability to clean and disinfect various surfaces
• Ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds regularly
• Good organization skills
• Knowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners
• Excellent time-management skills
