Job Description:

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for customer communication and financial management.

Responsibilities:

• Engage in customer correspondence to facilitate the resolution of outstanding accounts receivable.
• Collaborate with internal departments, including Sales, Customer Service, and Distribution, to ensure efficient customer order processing.
• Regularly monitor credit holds and generate accounts receivable reports for internal review.
• Utilize banking platforms to manage receipts and reconcile daily transactions in JDE AR system.
• Access customer portals to retrieve remittance advice and manage account adjustments.
• Process authorized payment deductions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Coordinate resolution of disputed deductions by directing them to relevant departments.
• Provide support to the Accounts Receivable Department by assisting in analysis and preparing documentation for external audits and financial institutions.

Collection of Past Due Balances:

• Conduct regular reviews of account aging and prepare customer-specific summaries for management.
• Document all collection activities for past due accounts.
• Refer problematic or uncollectible account balances to management for further review or external collection.
• Maintain appropriate credit hold statuses for designated accounts.
• Investigate and reconcile any discrepancies in account records.
