We are seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineer to join our Ronkonkoma, NY office. This individual will have experience in designing various civil engineering projects in the state of NY. Local experience within the NYC metropolitan area and Long Island is preferred. Typical assignments will include public transit (highway, railway), site planning and land development, storm drainage systems, sanitary sewers, utilities, and related civil tasks for both private and public works.

We are seeking self-starting team players with excellent written and verbal communications skills who can successfully handle multiple assignments.

Qualifications:

• Must be capable of independent design including site layout, grading & drainage design.
• Proficiency in preparing engineering computations.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Ability to identify tasks and define, evaluate, and implement solutions related to land development problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
