Green Key Resources is Hiring a Commercial Sr. Manager Program Management Near Rockville, MD

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager, Program Management (Commercial Launch) to support the launch, ramp-up, and production activities for our state-of-the-art cell therapy commercialization process. This role is pivotal in driving enterprise transformation as the company transitions from a developmental to a commercial stage. The ideal candidate will manage various functional projects within the commercialization process, establishing overall governance across company programs. This strategic role requires close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and the ability to address diverse challenges.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement overall strategic planning and market access strategies in collaboration with department stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive commercial launch readiness and launch plan, mapping key activities, functional milestones, risks, and developing mitigation/contingency plans.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to devise brand and overall launch strategies, delivering innovative ideas for launch readiness.
  • Formulate optimized pricing and reimbursement strategies, recognizing consumer value for patients, payers, and other market players.
  • Establish financial forecasting for the new product portfolio and work with the finance department for budgeting purposes.
  • Monitor project performance, anticipate issues impacting the launch, develop contingency plans, and communicate risks to management.
  • Develop and maintain the launch planning calendar, identifying critical decision points, team events, and milestones.
  • Communicate routine launch readiness updates across internal functions, commercial leadership, collaborators, and agencies.
  • Organize and facilitate launch team meetings, manage agendas, track decisions, issues, and follow-up action items.
  • Communicate program and project plans to stakeholders, removing barriers effectively and ensuring full visibility and support.
  • Challenge the product launch team to improve decision-making for the best possible product launch.
  • Manage the project’s critical path and key risks.
  • Monitor market trends and product performance data for reporting; stay informed of industry developments and competitor activities.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, develop strong relationships, and advocate for the value of future company products.
  • Serve as the primary contact for day-to-day management of the launch plan.
  • Provide operational and strategic planning support to the Strategic Planning department lead; perform other operational ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, marketing, or finance; MBA/graduate degree preferred.
  • At least 6 years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry or related consulting work in sales, marketing, or business development.
  • Minimum of 3 years of commercial launch experience, including strategy.
  • Profound knowledge of pharmaceutical development with hands-on experience in planning and executing commercial pharmaceutical product launches.
  • Experience in cell/gene therapy and/or CDMO is a plus.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills; experience with MS Project required. PMP certification is a plus.
  • Resilience, flexibility, and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and manage several objectives in parallel with high accountability.
  • Strong partnership-building skills and ability to integrate with external collaborators in a matrixed environment.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities to meet critical deadlines in a dynamic environment, providing clear direction to team members.
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to lead as a change agent.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to work in a virtual setting across time zones, utilizing communication tools like MS Teams, WebEx, and video conferencing.
  • Extensive experience and comfort in creating and delivering professional presentations.
  • Proficient with MS Office products and other technology tools.
