On a daily basis supervise, mentor, manage and direct all aspects of the Accounting Department including, but not limited, to the following:

· Day-to-day supervision of the Accounting team

· Oversee and monitor month-end close process including all reporting done on a monthly basis to various audiences

· Produce accurate, complete, and meaningful reports for all financial aspects of the company

· Maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records

· Establish and maintain a comprehensive set of controls to safeguard company assets, ensure accuracy of reporting, and mitigate risk of error in processes

· Compile budgets for all departments and for the company as a whole and track actual results to budget

· Ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles

· Oversee payroll function

· Project manage all aspects of any financial audit (annual audits of financial records, internal control audits, tax audits, banking department audits, etc.)
