- Responsible for supporting the accounting/finance team with day-to-day responsibilities, quarter-end close of the financial statements, and analytical reporting
- This individual will have an opportunity to learn and grow within the company
- Use QuickBooks to perform accounting functions (A/P, A/R, etc.)
- Employee expense tracking, reporting, and processing
- Participating in process improvements and one-off special projects as needed
- Available to aid throughout the accounting organization as needed
- Assist with both accounts payable and receivable
- Participate in cash management and its related reporting processes
- Research and resolve account reconciling items
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close procedures
- Assist with general ledger maintenance.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with corporate timelines
- Assist with internal reporting and ad-hoc report requests
- Assist with the year-end audit and tax filings
- Assist with other ad hoc projects
- Support other team members as necessary
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business accounting, or finance
- Internship or professional accounting experience
- Ability and willingness to keep maintain confidentiality
- Familiarity with accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently
