We’re currently hiring a Director of Operations (MEP) to join our team! We are partnered with a large multi-disciplined engineering firm headquartered in Pennsylvania with full-service offices throughout the Northeast.

The ideal candidate will be a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Massachusetts with experience leading an office or project team, and exposure to business development. This role will be integral in the development of the organization and the mentorship of the next generation of engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in building a proficient and technical design team by retaining talent and recruiting the next generation of engineers.
• Maintain open and clear communication within the office and contribute to building a highly collaborative office culture.
• Develop strategic plans for operations and annual budgeting.
• Work closely with the business development team in supporting revenue goals, proposals, and contracts.
• Collaborate with managing partners bouncing ideas, sharing tools and best practices.
• Develop new clients and retain existing client relationships by understanding needs and providing them with specific solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineering License
• 10 years of experience within the industry, with proven experience in project management
• Strong organizational skills, with ability to make sound hires, and management of technical staff
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to navigate client relationships externally, and ability to influence decision makers throughout company internally
