HR Compliance Manager

Healthcare organization in NYC seeks a contract HR Compliance Manager to handle compliance needs and process improvement for the firm, including managing internal audits. Long term temporary role with potential to become permanent.

Hybrid schedule, 3 days onsite in Manhattan.

Pay: $50-60/hr, salary $120-140K base

Hours: 8:30am-5pm

Responsibilities

• Partners on the establishment of an effective HR Compliance Program
• Identifies areas of vulnerability and risk and leverages an internal network to complete internal HR audits and address compliance issues
• Establishes and maintains an audit calendar and manages all HR responses to audit requests
• Point person to manage the responses to internal/external audits
• Oversees the EEO/AAP process, including the formulation of proposed actions
• Responsible for ensuring all HR Policies are up to date
• Identify new policies or changes to existing policies based on external regulatory and legal forces
• Prepare and deliver compliance-related training to partners and employees
• Stay up to date on all employee-related legislative, regulatory changes or developments and ensure changes are communicated/restructured within HR systems

Qualifications:

• 4 years’ experience in HR compliance including Affirmative Action and regulatory experience
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Deep understanding of US employment law and demonstrated experience understanding and establishing actions to address Federal and State regulations, including OFCCP requirements
• Strong problem resolution experience with demonstrated ability to influence all employee levels
• Demonstrated change management experience
• Strong analytic skills and a demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information and trends
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
