- The Turn House located at the Hobbits Glen Golf Course in the heart of Columbia, MD is seeking Hosts/Hostesses to join our family!
- If you are an energetic person seeking to work at a place that is growing, exciting, fun, and family oriented then The Turn House is the place for you.
- Full-time and Part-time positions available.
- Salary: From $12.00 per hour.
Position Overview:
- The Host/Hostess is responsible for being the first point of contact with our customers and is expected to give a positive first impression of our establishment which offers excellent service and high-quality dining experience.
- Our Host/Hostess is expected to be interactive with our guests, have in-depth knowledge of all prices and menu items, answer incoming calls and handle appropriately and efficiently.
- You will also fill in where needed to assist serving staff.
Essential Job Functions:
- Reports to work on time and as scheduled.
- Responsible, trustworthy and a team player.
- Ability to work in fast paced, high volume environment, meeting customers’ demands in an accurate and timely fashion with a positive attitude.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Always provides excellent customer service in person or via phone.
- Have excellent communication and listening skills.
- Consistently meet all established time goals.
- Be self-motivated and demonstrate initiative.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts – days, evenings and weekends.
Physical Demands:
- Will be regularly standing, walking, and interacting with people.
- Light to medium lifting – Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
