As a Service Writer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless experience for our customers by effectively communicating their vehicle service needs to our technicians.

Overview:

At Green Toyota Service Center, we pride ourselves on delivering top-notch customer service and maintaining high standards of vehicle care. As a Service Writer, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, responsible for accurately documenting vehicle issues and coordinating service appointments. Previous experience is preferred.

Duties:

- Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner to understand their vehicle concerns.

- Document detailed descriptions of vehicle issues and relay this information accurately to our service technicians.

- Provide accurate estimates for labor and parts needed for repairs or maintenance.

- Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely completion of work and keep customers informed of any delays or changes.

- Utilize your mechanical knowledge to assist in diagnosing vehicle problems and recommending appropriate services.

- Upsell additional services or maintenance based on vehicle needs and manufacturer recommendations.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in service writing or a related customer service role.

- Familiarity with brake repair, air brake systems, diesel engine repair, auto estimating, tire services, and general vehicle maintenance.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.

- Valid driver's license required.
